About Us: An End and A New Beginning.

Since January 2020, we have been committed to providing an environment where our customers can be transported to Japan by serving them authentically Japanese dishes.

We are thrilled to announce a new chapter in our constantly evolving story, as we transition our Omakase Sushi service to a brand-new venue in central Leeds, "Sushi Nakamura".

However, this isn't a farewell to the beloved Hanamatsuri, as we continue our service at our original Meanwood location, reimagined as an authentic Izakaya style restaurant.

Here, we will be offering a new and diverse menu, ensuring the same level of quality and innovation that you have come to expect from us.

Whether you are in the mood for outstanding sushi at Sushi Nakamura or looking to experience the cozy ambiance of an Izakaya at Hanamatsuri, we look forward to welcoming you and creating more delightful memories together.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours notice for any changes or cancellations, or else a fee of £80 per person will be charged to the card used to make the reservation. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please let us know or your reservation may be cancelled.

Guest Policy

We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 due to the menu and layout of the restaurant. Customers who attend with children will have their reservation cancelled and a cancellation fee may be charged.

Please avoid too much fragrance, to help you more easily enjoy the tastes of your meal.

Please arrive in plenty of time, so that we can start the service of your Omakase experience promptly.

Dietary Requirements

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements, including vegetarians and vegans.
We will try our best to accommodate any requirements.

Accessibility

The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible and customers are seated up at the sushi bar. We are unable to offer alternative seating arrangements due to the layout of the restaurant.

Reservations

The Omakase Course is £150 per person.

Please pre-order any supplementary dishes under "Add a Special Request" section within the booking.

Any changes or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged £80 per person.
